Upper Eyelid Surgery
Upper eyelid surgery is the process of removing excess muscle and skin. It is performed under local anesthesia or sedation. The surgery takes about one hour. Surgeons make a drawing to determine how much skin and muscle should be removed before the procedure.
After the operation, the cut skin is finely stitched on the upper eyelid. These stitches are hidden in the eye crease, they are invisible from the outside. Before Eyelid Surgery

It is necessary to cover your eyes for up to a week following the procedure. After that, you need to apply the cream at home. It is natural to have bruising and swelling for about a week after the procedure. These will gradually disappear.
The recovery period after eyelid aesthetics is between six months and one year. However, patients observe an improvement from the second week onwards and can resume their social life.
It is useful to apply ice and pomade to the treated area for a week after eyelid aesthetics. If possible, resting for the first few days will speed up recovery for a faster recovery. Patients should avoid long and tiring walks, heavy lifting, and especially leaning forward.
Please avoid contact with the water until the stitches are removed. No special treatment is necessary once the stitches are removed. Patients should lie face up for a week following the operation. During the next two weeks, please avoid activities such as sports and the sea.
