Once the implant to be used is decided, the surgeon makes an incision in the fold under the breast, under our arm or around the nipple, whichever is appropriate.

After the incision, the breast tissue is separated from the muscles and connective tissue of the chest. A pocket is created in front of or behind the outermost muscle of the chest wall. Then, the implant is placed in this pocket, and the nipple is centered.

The implants are saline and silicone implants. Saline implants are empty implants. They are filled with sterile saline after insertion. On the other hand, silicone implants are placed inside by pre-filling with silicone gel.

Reverse Incision Method: The surgeon makes an incision in the lower part of the chest where a t shape is formed. Excess fat is separated from breast tissue and removed. The incision is then closed and the procedure is completed.

Lollipop Incision Method: The surgeon makes incisions by making circular movements on the nipple. Excess tissue is removed. If necessary, the surgeon lifts the nipple. A drain is placed to prevent fluid and blood from accumulating in the chest, and the procedure is completed.

It is important not to damage the milk ducts while performing the closure procedure. Since the drain is removed one day later, the patient should stay in the hospital for one day following the surgery, and the patient can be discharged. Patients should rest at home for at least one week following the surgery. The stitches are removed at the end of the first or second week following the surgery, and the person can resume daily life. Patients may experience mild whining in the first year.
